The Department of Addictology in Prague had the pleasure to host a visit from Prof. Richard Pates.
Prof. Richard Pates is a founder member and former president of ISAJE. He had been the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Substance Use for the past 20 years.
He is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist by profession working mainly in the field of addiction, children from very troubled backgrounds and sexual health and a visiting Professor of Psychology at the University of Worcester.
He has published 40 or so papers and book chapters and books on Injecting Illicit Drugs, on the Treatment of Amphetamine Problems and on International Harm Reduction.
