Sanela Talić is the Head of Prevention Programmes at the Institute of Research and Development (UTRIP).
She is involved in several EC-funded projects in the field of addiction prevention, health promotion and healthy lifestyles, social-emotional learning, violence and injury prevention. She is also a researcher and PhD candidate in Prevention Science at the University of Zagreb, Croatia. She is a Master Trainer for EU-DAP / Unplugged school-based prevention programme and EFFEKT programme for parents (www.effekt.org), and a national coordinator and Master Trainer for the Strengthening Families Program (SFP) and Boys and Girls Plus programme. She is a member and past elected secretary of the European Society for Prevention Research (EUSPR) (two mandates).
Her extraordinary achievements are especially as follows: leadership in disseminating evidence-based prevention practice nationally and internationally, exceptional training skills which inspire trainees to work even better in practice, an exceptional advocate for evidence-based policies and practices nationally and internationally.
