Consisting of five separate booklets, the World Drug Report 2021 provides an in-depth analysis of the global drug markets and paints a comprehensive picture of the measurable effects and potential impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the world drug problem.
On Saturday 27th February 2021 the Executive Committee meeting of ISSUP Kenya took place. There were good discussions and more information will be forthcoming from the committee about the way forward for our organisation. In the meantime members are encouraged to continue sharing about various activities both professional and personal.
ISSUP Kenya has entered into talks with Kenyatta University through Department of Psychology, to explore potential for partnership in the delivery of mutual objectives, programs and activities. Present during the meeting held on 17th December 2020 at the KU administrative complex: Dr. Eunice Githae-Chair Department of Psychology, Dr. Pamela Kaithuru-ISSUP Kenya), Evans Oloo-President ISSUP Kenya & Dr. Beatrice Kathungu-KU/ISSUP amongst other faculty members.

ISSUP Kenya in partnership with the PCEA graduated the first cohort of trainees on basic UTC course: a total of 30 participants. The ceremony at the Kikuyu mission hospital was graced by the Governor of Kiambu County, His Excellency James Nyoro, In coming SG of the PCEA, Rev. The UNODC Kenya mentor has participated at the webinar on the impact of COVID-19 pandemic and Substance Use Disorders in Kenya on Friday, 15 May 2020.
