Policy Review Workshop on Drug Treatment Centres in Bangladesh

At the beginning of October 2016 the Addiction Management and Integrated Care unit (AMIC) of Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) organised a workshop to review its existing policies regarding drug treatment centres. Particular focus was put on increasing the centres facilities, reducing the dropout rate, increasing the drug treatment success rate, ensuring the clients' satisfaction and improving evidence-based treatment services across DAM’s drug treatment centres. The venue of the workshop was “BACE Training Centre, Sonargaon, Narayanganj. A total of 46 staff members from different drug treatment centres and projects of AMIC-DAM participated in the workshop.
