In close coordination with the Ministry of Health of Côte d'Ivoire, this three-part online workshop brought together 25 methadone pilot programme professionals and the services and treatment centres planned for the expansion of the methadone programme at the national level. On the occasion of the exchanges between participants that take place during the session, the need to organize oneself into a network of health professionals to offer more effectively the multiple care necessary for the holistic care of people with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders was widely discussed and unanimously accepted.. To ensure adequate implementation with regard to international standards, a field visit mission to evaluate the methadone pilot programme in Côte d'Ivoire is planned very soon.
