The Matilda Centre brings together researchers in broad fields to share skills, integrate data, and harness new technologies to develop and trial innovative prevention, early intervention and treatment programs for substance use and mental disorders.
The Matilda Centre is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Level A) / Research Fellow (Level B) (0088838) to manage and implement projects designed to develop and evaluate interventions for substance use among people working in emergency, corrective, family and community services.
This position is open to qualified academic Level A and B applicants. The level at appointment will be determined on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.
Your key responsibilities will be to:

build on and develop a major project undertaking critical research in mental health and substance use assessment in emergency response and other frontline personnel

undertake the academic leadership and project management of intervention development, user testing and trialling of online interventions

liaise and consult with key stakeholders across funder, partner and other organisations and agencies

develop and lead the academic program stream, including applying for further funding, undertaking analysis of program data, and the preparation of publications for peer-review journals and conference presentations

manage complex and varied reporting requirements, including to funders, stakeholders and senior Centre and broader leadership groups.
