The 2018 National Opioid Maintenance Treatment Conference is organized by the Norwegian Centre for Addiction Research and the National Advisory Unit on Multidisciplinary Addiction Services.
The national opioid maintenance conference is a biennial meeting place for networking, updates in the field, and capacity-building. Participants includes experts within opioid treatment, specialized health care providers, municipal service providers, patient advocacy groups, and other organizations involved in wraparound care.
The last conference held in 2016 was attended by more than 750 participants. As in previous years, 2018's conference is organized jointly by the Norwegian Centre for Addiction Research and the National Advisory Unit on Multidisciplinary Addiction Services.
