Becca Petros has a masters degree in linguistics from Northeastern Illinois University and has worked for the Detroit Recovery Project since 2020 where she has helped run programs under their Recovery Training Institute. Her research interests include sociolinguistics, gender and language, and reducing stigmatizing language through linguistic interventions.
