Irene Tsalera is an educational counselor, actress and drama instructor. She has been working in KETHEA since 2000, holding a position that organize, implement and evaluate educational programs for the special population of drug users and ex-users.
She is a holder of a post graduate degree on adult education (MED) and she has participated in a multitude of specialized seminars concerning the connection of art with drug rehabilitation.
She works as the Head of Education in the therapeutic program KETHEA EN DRASI, for convicts, ex-convicts, drug users and ex-addicts. She puts into practice experiential and interactive methods aiming at stimulating the participants when it comes to matters of educational and professional development. Drama and dance therapy are the primary tools for stimulating and reinforcing self-esteem of such individuals with the ultimate goal of supporting their future decisions.
