Faridah Nakoma holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Makerere University. Since 2013 she has been lecturing at the Department of Psychology at Kyambogo University.
Faridah is a co-facilitator of the UTC under Drug Addiction Free Africa (DAFA), a training provider of UTC and UPC in Uganda. Ms. Nakoma has also facilitated several capacity building trainings and workshops in organizations providing mental health services to vulnerable groups and she's currently serving as the Board chairperson of 3 Stars Rehabilitation Initiative - a Community Based Organization in Uganda.
With over 10 years’ experience working with families of children with disabilities, Faridah also provides consultancy services to several disability projects in Uganda.
