Goals & Objectives
ASAM members and non-members are invited to submit abstracts for poster presentations, focus sessions, and workshop sessions. ASAM encourages investigators, researchers, clinicians, and physicians from diverse organizations and fields to submit.
The ASAM Annual Conference goals and objectives for accepted abstracts are:
- To present the best new scientific research available
- To present the best practices, treatments, tools, and modalities in all areas of addiction medicine
- To bring science into clinical practice
- For learners to experience concise, interactive, case-based, and/or creative teaching methods
Note: One of ASAM's objectives for the Annual Conference is to increase the number of scientific and medical posters. ASAM will reopen the Call for Abstracts from January 1 - 22, 2025, for poster presentations only.
