The theme for the 2024 symposium was “Balance and Coordinated Strategy for Building a Drug- Free Community: with Active Citizen Engagement” to highlight the importance of a holistic approach that includes supply and demand reduction, with a strong emphasis on the active involvement of community in creating sustainable drug- free environment.
This symposium covered various thematic tracks, addressing both preventive and control measures, and showcasing best practices, evidence based strategies, and innovative approaches, the Conference focused on scientific knowledge of drugs and effective evidence- based interventions. The presentation by Mel Medura was on Community De Addiction and how we address it.
