The third seminar in the Institute of Alcohol Studies sustainability series will explore the voluntary commitments on sustainability made by alcohol producers, examining pledges in the wider context of industry corporate social responsibility.
To learn what does Science can tell about the gaps, challenges, and opportunities on psychedelics as therapeutics, the US National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), and National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) will host a virtual and free workshop on January 12 and 13, 2022.

Professor Eileen Kaner, Newcastle University, will share with us the findings of the Impact of minimum unit pricing on alcohol purchases in Scotland and Wales study, as published in The Lancet.
This study analysed household purchase data based on bar codes to assess the impact of these policy options in the medium term for Scotland and in the immediate term for Wales.
