Curriculum de traitement universel

Le Curriculum de traitement universel (UTC) a été élaboré par plusieurs équipes de concepteurs de programmes d’études, notamment JBS International, SME Consulting, et TTK, sous la houlette du Centre International d'Accréditation et d'Éducation des Professionnels de la Prise en Charge de la Toxicomanie (ICCE). Il fournit une série d’outils de formation pour le développement des compétences et des aptitudes des professionnels du traitement. La série de formation a pour objectif de réduire les problèmes sanitaires, sociaux et économiques majeurs associés à la toxicomanie, en renforçant les capacités de traitement internationales grâce à la formation, afin d’élargir le personnel spécialisé dans le traitement à l’échelon international.

L’UTC est disponible par le biais des séries pour les niveaux de base et avancé, ainsi qu’avec des séries destinées aux spécialistes qui se concentrent sur les populations présentant des besoins spécifiques, comme les femmes, les enfants et les personnes en réhabilitation.

Série UTC Niveau de base

L’UTC Niveau de base se compose de huit cours qui couvrent le vaste éventail de traitements des toxicomanies. Le contenu et la méthodologie de la série de formation UTC ont été conçus pour que les praticiens œuvrant dans le domaine de la dépendance élaborent une perspective équilibrée des principes associés à la science et à l’art du traitement. Chaque cours est destiné à améliorer les connaissances, les aptitudes et les compétences des professionnels du traitement, ainsi qu’à promouvoir des pratiques fondées sur des données probantes pour améliorer la prestation de services et les effets des traitements.

UTC 7: Crisis Intervention for Addiction Professionals

13 training hours

This course addresses the concept of crisis as a part of life and provides guidelines for crisis intervention, including managing suicide risk. It also addresses ways counsellors can avoid personal crisis situations by providing information and exercises about counsellor self-care.

UTC Niveau avancé

L’UTC Niveau avancé est un ensemble de quinze cours en préparation, dont l’objectif est de fournir des bases théoriques plus complètes dans la pratique clinique du traitement des toxicomanies. Il propose une formation spécialisée qui vise à fournir une formation continue approfondie avec les dernières informations et des activités basées sur les aptitudes, afin de renforcer davantage les capacités du personnel de traitement et de normaliser la qualité des soins et des services fournis aux patients.

La série UTC spécialisée a été élaborée pour fournir des outils de pointe sur des questions spécifiques pertinentes pour les personnes actives dans le domaine du traitement :

Le Curriculum « Intervention auprès de l’enfant pour une vie sans drogue » (CHILD) fournit aux professionnels du traitement les outils dont ils ont besoin pour identifier, évaluer et traiter les enfants toxicomanes, en recourant à des interventions et à des méthodologies appropriées à leur âge.

Il s’agit d'un programme de formation en six cours, qui répond aux besoins des enfants et de leurs dispensateurs de soins touchés par la toxicomanie et s’adapte aux différentes conditions de vie, dans des contextes sociaux, culturels, économiques et politiques divers.
