ISSUP Bahamas Launch INEP Plus Training

ISSUP Bahamas are thrilled to announce their first in-country INEP (Introduction to Evidence-Based Prevention) training, which will take place between 24 April and 31 July 2024.

The training will be delivered by Troy E Clarke I, ICAP Tx I and Lowena West in Freeport, Grand Bahama.  Those participating will include personnel from the Royal Bahamas Police Force (Northern Division), the Grand Bahama Health Service and The National LEAD Institute.

ISSUP Bahamas General Membership Meeting - 20 February 2024

ISSUP Bahamas Workshop on The Science of Substance Use Disorder

ISSUP Bahamas held a one-day workshop on 25 August 2023 at the Police Training College in Freeport, Grand Bahama.  The workshop aimed to facilitate a collaboration platform for diverse stakeholders to explore the multi-dimensional aspects of substance use challenges and develop effective strategies to address them.

The event commenced with an opening address by Senator Hon Kirkland Russell, Deputy Director of Urban Renewal for the Northern Bahamas.
