Professor at the School of Nursing of the University of São Paulo (EEUSP); member of the Centre for Nursing Studies and Research in Addictions - Alcohol and Other Drugs (NEPEAA); core member of the Brazilian Centre for Evidence-Based Health Care: Centre of Excellence of the JBI; non-verbal communication coach at the Paul Ekman Group; and member of the International Nurses Society on Addictions (InTNSA) and president of its Brazilian Chapter.
She works mainly in the following areas: mental health, anxiety, interpersonal theory, verbal and non-verbal communication, addictions - substance use disorders, and the development of complex theories and interventions.
