Master in Public Health, Specialist in Continuous Quality Improvement by the Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI); Psychologist from Universidad Católica de Chile. He has more than 20 years of experience in the field of addictions.
He served as National Head of the SENDA Treatment Area, led the process of developing Quality and Accreditation Standards for treatment centers; he has been a consultant for PAHO, for CICAD/OAS and a trainer for UNODC; he has advised several countries on treatment policies.
He currently works as Project Manager for the Colombo Plan Drug Advisory Programme Office for LAC; and he is a Master's professor at several universities.
