European Drugs Summer School 2023
This two week in-person Summer School (26th of June to 7th of July 2023) prepares professionals and students to meet the complex policy challenges that face Europe and the World in the field of drugs.
The European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA) is the leading authority on illicit drugs in Europe. Based in Lisbon, Portugal, the EUDA provides independent scientific evidence and analysis on all aspects of this constantly changing threat to individual lives and wider society. The EUDA contributes to EU and national policies to protect Europe's citizens from drug-related harms. It is an agency of the European Union.
Our new mission focuses on contributing to European Union (EU) preparedness on drugs through four main actions: anticipate, alert, respond, and learn.

Background: COVID-19 has raised attention in Europe, and globally, on the importance of monitoring preparedness towards potential emergencies.
Our two week online Winter School (13th to 24th of February 2023) prepares professionals and students to meet the complex policy challenges that face Europe and the World in the field of drugs.
Objective: to explore wastewater analysis as a methodology contributing to EU preparedness and response
Background: COVID-19 has raised the attention of Europe, and globally, on the importance of readiness towards potential emergencies. Improved and innovative monitoring methodologies are at the core of the research-based actions taken to respond to potential threats.
