ISSUP held its second annual staff meeting for 2017 in Windsor, UK from 10th - 13th September. Over the course of the three days, the group of eight reviewed the organisation’s progress in line with the deliverables as set out in the 2016/2017 work plan, before setting to work on planning to build on the past year’s achievements by devising a number of key objectives to be met over the next twelve months. One of the most exciting of these is surely the conception and subsequent dissemination of an ISSUP short film. Olivier Llouquet, a professional web-designer, was also invited to lead an afternoon workshop with the ISSUP staff. During the session, several new ideas (watch this space!) were discussed with regard to future developments for the website’s Knowledge Share section.
Within the team itself, changes also are afoot. Ally Lee, ISSUP’s Knowledge Share Content Researcher, will leave the organisation in October to begin a PhD Research and Teaching Fellowship at the University of Warwick. ISSUP wishes him a fond farewell as it prepares the search for his replacement. Reflecting on the past year at this time, the organisation would also like to thank its members and site visitors for their continued support and positivity.
