We are thrilled to be participating in two Side Events at the Sixty-Sixth Session of the United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND). Both events will explore issues at the cutting edge of international drug policy.
On 16 March attend two live-streamed Side Events on humanitarian drug policy and the upstream preventative approach called deflection. Deflection represents a new partnership between Police, Community and Treatment Services and is rapidly becoming the default response for many police forces around the world.
Join us on Thursday 16th March 8.00 - 8.50am (GMT +1 - Vienna) for a Side Event exploring why deflection is uniquely poised to become a new global policy on policing and drugs called "Deflect Early. Deflect Often."
Venue: Room M3 and broadcast live online here.
On Thursday 16th March 9.00 - 9.50am (GMT +1 - Vienna) ISSUP will be presenting alongside experts, practitioners, activists, and beneficiaries on strategies to reduce the stigmatisation of people with drug disorders.
The venue for this Side Event on Humanitarian Drug Policy is Room M3 and online here.
