Serenity in the Steps

Serenity in the Steps (SITS) was formerly known as Serenity at the Quarry with address at the Steps, Gulf view Horizons, Suello Village, Baguio City, Philippines 2600. Serenity in the Steps is a Counselling and Consultancy facility focused on servicing treatment needs of People with Substance Use Disorder. Mr. Clemente Abella Jr, the Program Director is a Licensed Guidance Counsellor of the Professional Regulatory Commission of the Philippines (PRC) and an ICCE Level III International Certified Addiction Professional. He has been in the field of SUD recovery since 1993. SITS has several ICCE Certified Addiction Professionals in its rosta and is in close coordination with top medical professionals. SITS also outsources closed door residential and halfway house services as part of its integrated holistic program to graduates and colleagues. Licensed Clinical and Counselling psychologists are in the SITS network. They are on call on need basis. SITS has active outreach services through its radio program and city jail meetings. Advocacy activities include training and seminars on addiction and codependency. It has strategic partnerships with the Catholic Church (Diocese of Baguio) and Baguio City Social Welfare Department. SITS has recently submitted application to be an accredited Counselling Provider of Professional Regulatory Commission of the Philippines (PRC Counselling Board)
