Το Εθνικό Παράρτημα ISSUP Bahamas ξεκίνησε επίσημα στις 2 Φεβρουαρίου 2023 στο Πανεπιστήμιο των Μπαχαμών. Το θέμα για την έναρξη ήταν «η αυγή μιας νέας εποχής στην πρόληψη, τη θεραπεία και την απεξάρτηση από τον εθισμό».
Σε αυτή την προσωπική και διαδικτυακή εκδήλωση συμμετείχαν διάφοροι οργανισμοί στις Μπαχάμες, καθώς και διεθνής συμμετοχή από το CICAD και το ISSUP Global.

Mrs Neo Masisi, the First Lady of the Republic of Botswana, hosted Mrs Muriel Zeender Berset, the spouse of the President of the Swiss Confederation, on the 7th February, 2023. As a result, the First Lady of Botswana organized a youth dialogue on the use of psychoactive drugs as part of one of her initiatives aimed at children, adolescents, and youth.
