6th Annual Addiction and the Family International Network (AFINet) Conference

The Addiction and the Family International Network (AFINet) promotes, through research, practice and policy, the well-being of family members, friends and colleagues who are affected by, and/or concerned about another person’s problems with or addiction to alcohol, drugs or gambling.

AFINet 2025 Conference is an excellent networking opportunity for researchers, practitioners, policy experts and experts by experience from around the world to come together to discuss current work focused on improving the lives of family members who suffer by being close to someone with an alcohol, drugs, or gambling problem.

The conference will be held in French and English and it is open to all, members and non-members alike.  The main presentations will be translated simultaneously, and several other presentations will have their slides available in French and English.

The AFINet 2025 Conference will be held in Quebec City (Quebec, Canada) on May 22-23, preceded by a day of four clinical workshops on proven models for entourage members on May, 21.

There will be a welcome reception at the conference on May 21 from 4pm to 6pm, with light refreshments, followed by a presentation for the general public.

A festive evening in the colours of Quebec will be held on the evening of Thursday May, 22.
