ISSUP Togo has successfully held its first youth engagement meeting, marking an important milestone in strengthening youth participation in substance use prevention efforts across the country.
The meeting, held on 21 March 2026, brought together representatives from 10 youth associations, creating a dynamic platform for dialogue, collaboration, and shared commitment to addressing substance use challenges among young people.
On 18 February 2026, the ISSUP Lagos State Branch carried out a school-based substance use prevention outreach at Onike Junior High School, Sabo-Yaba, as part of its ongoing commitment to youth-focused prevention and early intervention.
ISSUP Kenya members actively participated in the National Substance Use Prevention Week Summit held on 12–13 February 2026 at the Kenya School of Government, Lower Kabete. The Summit was convened by the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) and brought together policymakers, practitioners, civil society leaders, and community stakeholders.
