National Youth Conference 'Role of Youth for Drug Prevention' Held in Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan

National Youth Conference held in Mirpur Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan organized by Umeed Clinic Mirpur. Mr. Bashir Naz, President Elect, ISSUP Pakistan Chapter, Mr. Sana Ullah Rathore, Director Elect ISSUP Pakistan and Muhammad Ayoub, Assistant Kashmir, Mirpur participated as Guests. Mr. Bashir Ahmad said that ISSUP is the representative society of substance use professionals in Pakistan. He also said that the role of youth is very important in drug abuse prevention. Mr. Sana Ullah Rathore said, while addressing the young audience, youth can play a very important role in drug prevention in Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Pakistan. This is 1st youth conference held in Azad Jammu & Kashmir. He also congratulated Ms. Shabana and Umeed Clinic for such good conference for youth in Mirpur. He also said the newly elected board is planning training workshops and other activities for members after assumption of charge. Mr. Jawad, Ms. Shabana, Dr. Talat, Mr. Ayoub, Assistant Commissioner, Mirpur, youth leader and other speakers addressed the audience. Mr. Muhammad Javed, Director Freedom Rehab, Gujranwala, Mr. Shahid Mehmood, M. Aslam and Ms. Mehwish and others were also present on the occasion. A large number of participants from different parts of Kashmir and Pakistan attended this conference.
