Training on Universal Prevention Core Course (UPC - Core Course) for Prevention Professionals
In order to appropriately address the concerning global levels of substance Abuse Management and substance Prevention, it is vital that staffs are trained to deliver evidence-based Prevention intervention.
At the start of March 2022, the Education and Training Unit of the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board conducted training on Universal Prevention Core Course for 23 staff members of the NDDCB.
The training followed the Universal Prevention Core Course, which was developed for the U.S. Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) in collaboration with the Global Centre for Credentialing and Education of Addiction Professionals (GCCE), Colombo Plan.
The Final Report provides an overview of the sessions and the overall outcome of the training days.
