Lecture 2: Central Asian open lecture series on Screening, Assessment, and Treatment of Substance use disorders

Open lectures to be provided by the joint initiative between ISSUP Ukraine, ISSUP Kazakhstan, and ITTC Ukraine.

This series of lectures aims to bring together professionals from Central Asian region to discuss the topic of substance use disorders. They will cover basic topics on the main principles of understanding of substance use disorders, evidence-based backgrounds on the effective treatment and interventions of SUDs.

Information presented during the lectures will be based on the Universal Treatment Curriculum (UTC).

Objective is to highlight the possible reasons of SUDs related developments and bring professional and public attention to these important matters. The aim is to improve basic knowledge in addictions and to use the records of these lectures in educational process of academic institutions in the future.
