Ecolink concludes short courses on Science of addiction among youths

Ecolink Institute has concluded two batches on the science of addiction among youths, mostly from Universities, with the intention to provide them an introduction to psychoactive substances and how it affects their brain and cause addiction. The batches concluded on 28 July, 2023.  This was introduced as an awareness-building workshop in connection with International drug awareness day but aroused huge interest among especially psychology students and working youths. nearly 60 participants in two batches completed the training of Curriculum 1 with some additional sessions on prevention science, brief intervention, and co-occurring disorders. Ecolink plans to continue these short courses with a single curriculum as a step to introduce the full course.
