ABOUT US?
We are the national body that has the institutional support of the Salvadoran Alberto Masferrer University as the headquarters of the National Chapter, which leads the training and support of professionals who work in the prevention, treatment and recovery support of substance use.

WHAT DO WE DO?
The National Chapter of ISSUP El Salvador develops an integrated work process that allows for effective address of the problem of substance consumption in the country and that with the configuration of this instance, better training processes will be developed through updated information from this problematic, the development of care models based on evidence and the exchange of reliable information, allowing the strengthening of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation strategies for Salvadorans.

WHO INCLUDES IT?
The National Chapter is made up of the National Board of Directors appointed and sworn in to perform their duties for three years as follows: Dr. José Miguel Esperanza Amaya, Director of the ISSUP Chapter of El Salvador, Universidad Salvadoreña Alberto Masferrer.  José Miguel Argueta Hernández, Deputy Director of the ISSUP Chapter of El Salvador, Universidad Salvadoreña Alberto Masferrer. Eduardo Loyola Argüello, Addiction Therapeutic Center. Dr. Ottoniel Sánchez Murgas FOSALUD. Wendy Elizabeth Moz de Artiga Home of the Alcoholic Association. Don. Judas Tadeo Mirón Nolasco La Esperanza Recovery House. Luis Antonio Torres Sánchez National Anti-Drug Commission.  Jonathan Snyder of Mission To El Salvador.


THOSE WHO PARTICIPATE?
All people who, having training or experience in prevention tasks, treatment and support for recovery from substance use. They want to be part of the transformations that a healthy society generates.
