NATIONAL YOUTH LEADER’S CONSULTATION SIALKOT-PAKISTAN

National Youth Leader’s consultation has been Organized by Youth Forum Pakistan for Drug
Abuse Prevention in collaboration with M A Jinnah Foundation (Regd), Sialkot and ISSUP
Pakistan
The main purpose of this consultation was to have a meeting with the Advisory board, District
Youth leaders & Presidents of Youth Forum Pakistan (for Drug Abuse Prevention) & also to
make plan for upcoming Youth Convention which is going to be held in Lahore during last
week of January 2020 at Lahore and make plans for drug Abuse Awareness and Prevention
activities in Pakistan especially in Educational Institutes. All of these dignitaries gathered at
this event from all across Pakistan. Most of Youth Forum Pakistan including Youth Leaders and
Advisory Board are consists on Certified Addiction Professional, Psychologists, Social Workers,
Educationists and University Students also members of ISSUP and belongs to different part of
Pakistan as mentioned in the below.
Advisory Board of Youth Forum Pakistan (for Drug Abuse Prevention) consists of the
following members;

This Consultation started with the Almighty name of Allah with Recitation of Holy Quran &
Naat after that the host team from Sialkot introduced the participants by calling their name,
designation & city with their specialties. In the next session, all the participants shared their
experiences, facts & figures regarding Drug abuse prevention district wise & also discussed
about evidence-based research regarding prevention of drug & how can we do it & collect
data from Universities / colleges & design & create Youth Forum App & brochures specifically
for youth with ISSUP Pakistan’s Support. It has also focused on youth membership throughout
Pakistan & filling youth membership forms district level.
Sialkot team led the program very nicely & after tea they have opened the house for Youth
Convention’s planning. The Advisory board took their leading seats to start the discussion &
started following agenda. Everybody took part in discussion very curiously & deliberately.
Initially the house finalized the Venue for youth convention at Al-Hamra Hall, Lahore which
will surely be attended by the registered members & then finalized the menu at convention.
Advisory board then made different volunteer committees for youth convention i.e.;
committees for preparing official letters for chief guests & connecting to the concerned
authorities, management committee, food committee, Advertisement committee, décor
committee, Drama/skits committee Regarding Drug Abuse Prevention etc.
All the participants agreed upon to publish annual or bi-annual activity report, to launch
YouTube Channel & Website development of Youth Forum Pakistan.
After lunch, the detailed agenda for Youth Convention had been prepared & in the last session
all the National Youth Leaders & members of the Advisory board gave comments regarding
the whole consultation & youth convention program.
Finally, Ms. Saima Asghar, Executive Director New Life Rehab Center and Director ISSUP
Pakistan & Mr. Muhammad Aslam President M A Jinnah Foundation (Regd) paid gratitude to
all the participants who were gathered in Sialkot across the country in this frosty weather.
Last but not the least, Honorable Chie Guest Mr. Bashir Ahmed Naz - President ISSUP
Pakistan, applauded the whole program esp. host team Sialkot, advisory board, youth leaders
& presidents who came here across the Country. He committed that ISSUP Pakistan will
continue its support for youth empowerment esp. activities regarding drug abuse prevention
and to give financial & moral support in upcoming events alike.
