The University of Edinburgh are looking for a project co-ordinator to join the Fetal Alcohol Advisory and Support Team (FAAST). Funded by Scottish Government, FAAST is an expert resource in prenatal alcohol exposure (PAE) and fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD), and has a national remit for teaching, consultancy and research. The FAAST Project Co-ordinator will oversee day to day implementation of key project activities, supporting aims and deliverables to be achieved on schedule and accurately reported, with a practical role in ensuring efficient co-ordination of tasks undertaken by FAAS Team members and partnership work with external partners.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Experience in project co-ordination, delegation of tasks, supporting team processes, evaluating and encouraging improvement and innovation within these services
  • Degree or equivalent qualification, or significant experience in relevant roles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary team working, preferably in health and social care services
  • Advanced computer literacy and experience in word processing, spreadsheets and databases, presentations, file management, as well as experience with project management software
