An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic Substance Use & Recovery Nurse to join our healthcare teams within NHS Forth Valley prisons.

The ability to demonstrate high quality, person–centred care and good team working is essential. Keenness towards developing practice with appropriate and satisfactory clinical and interpersonal skills is necessary.

You will require being a first level registered nurse and evidence ongoing personal development within Substance Use and Recovery.

This is a nurse led service in consultation with the Clinical Lead for NHS Forth Valley Prison Healthcare and visiting Consultant Forensic Psychiatrists.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.  More information on this scheme can be found at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk

Shift Pattern is Monday - Friday
