Saidi  John Bandawe is a person who grew up using drugs   for 22 years and  has now been living clean and has recovered for 10 years He now provides services to the community as the executive secretary of the Gift Of Hope Foundation in Tanzania, he is also a peer educator at the community level  and Recovery Support Services, he provide  education services prevention, Recovery house, and  harm reduction Services, one of the successes is to receive Award from Hon   president of the republic of Tanzania

Received award from Hon President of Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan for best practise in harm reduction intervention 2023
