This seminar examines how prevention in the organizational sphere is intrinsically linked to the legal aspects of labor legislation in each country, and suggests the implementation of preventive practices that benefit both workers and business owners, while complying with current regulations. The presentation will be based on a Chilean experience of "psycholegal" prevention.

There will be two presentations of 20 minutes each, followed by 20 minutes for questions. The first part will address prevention in the workplace, with recommendations, benefits, and main resistances of workers and employers, based on experience. The second part will deal with Chilean legal requirements, along with an international review, and how they relate to the proposed preventive interventions.

Target audience:

  • Partners, professionals, interns and ISSUP Chile and other Spanish-speaking chapters.

Learning outcomes:

At the end of the session, participants will:

  1. They will learn about the main recommendations for prevention in the workplace.

  2. They will approach an experience of universal "psycholegal" preventive intervention in the organizational field carried out in Chile.

  3. They will be able to share experiences from their respective countries, both in terms of legislation and preventive actions in the workplace.
