Children and Addiction – Drugs and Alcohol

This session will explore ways in which parents and schools can protect young people from problematic alcohol and drug use. It will be led by Louise O’Connor, experienced teacher specialising in health education at both primary and secondary levels, former head of Drug Prevention Unit and Education Research at Roehampton University and patron of Catalyst, a Guildford based, not for profit organisation supporting people dealing with issues of drug and alcohol abuse.
