Mentorship/Buddy Initiative
The National Chapter Advisory Committee as part of its efforts in supporting the sustainability of National Chapters has proposed a new mentorship/buddy programme for the ISSUP National Chapters.
The introduction of a mentoring system is primarily targeted at the relatively newer Chapters, and it is to encourage the transfer of knowledge and best practices. This initiative not only enables cross-cultural communication but enhances access to information from like-minded organisations working in similar circumstances at the field level.
The programme is currently in a pilot phase with participation from ISSUP Lebanon and ISSUP Gambia. The proposed buddy initiative includes the mutual agreement of a workplan and a communication schedule between both Chapters.
