The Vienna NGO Committee on Drugs (VNGOC) together with the UNODC Civil Society Team are inviting you to a joint webinar introducing the International Drug Control Conventions and the treaty mandated functions of UNODC and CND.

The webinar will be held in English, interpretation in French and Spanish will be available.

This webinar will describe technology-based approaches in substance use prevention and health promotion. It will include information on how technology-based interventions can address sex, gender, and intersectional equity considerations.

Workshop Goal: To give staff working in AOD clinical settings an understanding of the key concepts and principles of clinical research and the benefits of introducing research into the clinical setting. 

Length: 4 hours

Workshop Goal: To give participants involved in research and trials a thorough understanding of all aspects of Good Clinical Practice and how it applies to everyday trial management .

2021 Theme: Social Justice and Action in Tobacco and Nicotine Science

The EMCDDA and the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) are offering two upcoming events in 2021: the European Drugs Winter School (EDWS) and the European Drugs Summer School (EDSS).

The EDWS will take place as a virtual event from 1–12 March 2021 and will explore the theme of 'Responses to, and preparedness for, health-related threats (COVID-19 lessons learned)'.
