Yuri L. Cutipé Cárdenas is a psychiatrist. He has a Master Degree in Social Policies at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and a PhD in Public Health at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. He later obtained his postgraduate studies in collective health and senior management at the National School of Public Administration. He was the Director of Collective Health from 2009-2014 of the National Institute of Mental Health Honorio Delgado - Hideyo Noguchi. Since 2014, he’s appointed as Director of Mental Health of the Ministry of Health of Peru.
