On Thursday, June 1st, the WHO launched the Expert Committee on Drug Dependence (ECDD) Information Repository, which provides health professionals and drug policy experts with a single searchable database to freely access all technical reports on over 450 substances reviewed by the ECDD.

In the entire world, smoking is a major contributor to preventable deaths and years of life with a disability. Nevertheless, little is known about the factors that influence women's smoking habits. دسترسی به خدمات درمان مواد مخدر در نایجریا به دلیل کمبود شدید نیروی کار درمان مواد مخدر کم باقی مانده است. برنامه هایی برای رفع کمبود نیروی کار با معرفی برنامه های آموزش اعتیاد به مواد مخدر در دانشگاه های نایجریا در جریان است. این مقاله مروری کوتاه بر شرایط مورد نیاز برای ایجاد برنامه های مدرک تحصیلی در دانشگاه های نایجریا، چالش هایی که دانشگاه ها در معرفی برنامه های اعتیاد به مواد مخدر با آن مواجه هستند، و فرصت های فعلی برای چنین برنامه هایی ارائه می دهد. یافته های این مطالعه به عنوان راهنمای پیگیری اعتبار بخشی برنامه مدرک مطالعات اعتیاد در دانشگاه های نایجریا عمل می کند.
