The Welsh Centre for Action on Dependency and Addiction is hosting its latest conference on Co-occurring Substance Use and Mental Health.
The event will take place on Thu, 7 November 2019 in Porthcawl.
The conference will address the question- How do we best meet the needs of people affected by co-occurring substance use and mental health?
This two-day course will help empower practitioners engaged in the alcohol sector to develop knowledge, skills and confidence in using Motivational Interviewing to enable behaviour change in clients and groups.
Who should sign up?
This session will explore ways in which parents and schools can protect young people from problematic alcohol and drug use.
Session overview
This session explores the co-design and co-implementation of standardised but flexible integrated care across separate mental health and addiction services in regional Australia.

The 2020 edition of the 'Summer school on illicit drugs Europe' will take place from 29 June-10 July 2020.
The inaugural SRNT-Oceania Chapter conference will be held in Sydney, Australia.
The aim of the conference is to share and celebrate the highest quality research and practice targeting tobacco use reduction and smoking cessation in Australia, New Zealand and Pacific nations throughout Oceania and the region.
The conference will be held on the 24th and 25th of October at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf in Sydney.
