The Sekgoma Memorial Hospital Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre in Serowe is expected to be fully operational by November this year, according to government officials. During a recent inspection of the facility, health leaders emphasized the urgent need to complete the project to provide critical addiction treatment services to the public.

Last week the Botswana Association of Addiction Professionals - BAAP / ISSUP Botswana had the honour of participating in the Botswana Police Service Youth Dialogue panel discussions, centred around the theme: "I Am Affected: Breaking the Cycle of Gender-Based Violence, Substance Use, and Improving Mental Health."

The Colombo Plan’s Drug Advisory Programme (DAP) organised a Training of Trainers (ToT) on Engaging Youth in Prevention in Kochi, India, from 8th to 13th September, 2024.
